Old Queen Street

The refurbishment and extension of a town house in St James's, London.

This project is for the restoration and extension of a six-storey St James' town house. The project involved opening up and extending the original staircase, adding a rooflevel studio and terrace, and incorporating a new lift into the family house.

The house had previously been divided into two flats and the stair had been removed. Replacing the stair and reinstating the integrity of the building as a single family house was the principle objective of the project. The whole house was refurbished and new bespoke joinery was fitted throughout.
